HIGH STANDARD KPI

We operate on a zero-tolerance Quality Control (QC) framework, designed specifically to meet and exceed the stringent delivery specifications of tier-one streaming platforms and global theatrical distributors. Specializing in high-end Localization, Dubbing, and M&E (Music & Effects) creation, our workflows are standardized in Avid Pro Tools to ensure bit-perfect archival integrity, creative transparency, and frictionless global scalability.

1. Loudness & Peak Management

As standard, we maintain absolute adherence to the ITU-R BS.1770-1/3/4, ensuring consistent, artifact-free playback across all consumer devices and theatrical environments.

Near-Field (Streaming & Broadcast)

  • Monitoring Reference: Calibrated to 79 dB or 82 dB SPL.

  • Target Loudness: -27 LKFS (Dialogue-gated).

  • Tolerance: ± 0.4 LU (satisfying the strictest global OTT thresholds).

  • True Peak: Maximum of -2 dBTP (-2.3 dBTP for Dolby Atmos beds and objects to prevent rendering spikes).

  • Dynamic Range: Loudness Range (LRA) carefully managed between 4 and 18 LU to preserve storytelling dynamics without inducing viewer fatigue.

Theatrical

  • Monitoring Reference: Calibrated to 85 dB SPL (X-Curve standard).

  • Target Loudness: No LKFS restriction; mix driven by creative intent and theatrical dynamics.

  • True Peak: Permitted up to 0 dBTP.

2. Localization & Dubbing Transparency

Dubbed audio must be transparent to the story. Our KPI for localization is absolute acoustic parity with the Original Version (OV).

  • Acoustic Matching: Localized dialogue is mixed dynamically to incorporate on-screen movement, perspective changes, and spatial realism. We reject the detached "voice-over" sound.

  • Environmental Emulation: Reverb, ambiances, and EQ treatments are painstakingly matched to the OV. We build custom localized treatment libraries for recurring locations to ensure multi-episode consistency.

  • Futz & Filter Parity: On-screen and off-screen effects (e.g., radios, phones, helmets) are matched 1:1 with the original creative intent, adapting to character specificities and location changes.

  • Sync & Fidelity: Lip-sync is tightened organically without artifact-inducing time-stretching. If the OV production audio suffers from technical flaws, our localized mixes aim for higher fidelity while maintaining the scene's sonic character.

3. Fully-Filled M&E Creation

Our M&E tracks are engineered to be indistinguishable from the OV, providing a flawless foundation for global localization partners.

  • Seamless Integration: We deliver "Fully-Filled" M&Es. Any Foley, ambiances, or production effects lost during dialogue suppression are completely rebuilt and matched to the original mix.

  • Optional Tracks (OPT): Non-scripted vocalizations, efforts, breaths, crowd walla, and foreign-language dialogue are meticulously isolated onto clearly labeled discrete Optional Tracks.

  • Level Matching: All M&E elements mirror the final Print Master levels, ensuring that localization mixers can drop in dubbed dialogue without needing to rebalance the foundation.

4. Immersive & Surround Formats

We deliver across all primary industry formats, including Dolby Atmos (ADM BWF), 5.1 Surround, and 2.0 Stereo (Lo/Ro fold-downs).

  • Dolby Atmos Workflows: We utilize advanced headphone-based spatial audio monitoring for Dolby Atmos mixing. This binaural rendering approach ensures hyper-precise spatial object placement, pristine bed isolation, and 1:1 translation for the vast majority of consumers experiencing immersive streaming content via spatial-enabled headphones and soundbars.

  • Stereo Compatibility: All 5.1 and Atmos down-mixes are rigorously checked for mono-compatibility and artifact-free LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) folding, with LFE low-pass filtered at 200Hz.

5. Archival Integrity & Deliverables

Future-proofing our partners' IP is a core responsibility. We guarantee structural perfection for all final assets and archives.

  • Resolution: 24-bit / 48kHz discrete LPCM (.wav or .bwav) format. Lossy audio is strictly prohibited.

  • Pro Tools Supersessions: Standard archival deliverables include fully organized Avid Pro Tools project files containing fully synced, edited, and EQ’d dialogue tracks, mastering Aux tracks, and clear stem routing (Dialog, Music, Effects, Narration).

  • Continuous Long-Play: Assets are delivered as continuous long-play files synced exactly to the final IMF/ProRes picture (FFOA to LFOA), free of unnecessary leaders or 2-pops unless specifically requested for theatrical reels.

  • Nomenclature: We employ strict, automated naming conventions to ensure seamless ingest into our partners' Content Hubs and automated QC pipelines.
